Our Core Value
From MD/CEO Desk
J & J Calvary Hearing and Speech Centre was born out of divine revelation from the Holy Scriptures after my graduation from the Premier University of Ibadan, Nigeria, West Africa I worked in Nigerian Educational Research & Development Council, Psycho-Educational Consultancy, EKO Hospital et al, with an encouragement from my loving husband in year 2000.
“And again, departing from the coast of Tyre and Sidon, he came unto the sea of Galilee, through the midst of the coasts of Decapolis. And they bring unto him one that was DEAF, and had AN IMPEDIMENT IN HIS SPEECH; and they beseech him to put his hand upon him… And looking up to heaven, he sighed, and saith unto him, Ephphatha, that is, Be opened. And straightway his ears were opened, and the string of his tongue was loosed, and he spake plain… He hath done all things well; he maketh both the deaf to hear, and the dumb to speak.” Mark 7: 31-37.
Hearing impairment in an individual could be congenital or adventitious. We handle cases of hearing challenges and we do conduct Hearing Conservation or Audiological Test for Industries, Individual and Schools. We also dispense quality hearing aids. We manage Hard of Hearing clients too.
The common feature to all Special Needs Children (Autism, Down Syndrome, Hard of Hearing, Cerebral Palsy, etc) is Delayed Speech. Special Needs Children are not “off-specs” but made to God’s glory and it is a condition and not a disease. At Calvary, the price was paid for a good hearing and clear speech and we believe in “with God nothing shall be impossible.”
With our training, backed up with God, we employ Acceptance, Patience, Passion, Love, and Early Intervention – APPLE, to see to the development of Special Needs Children and making them independent in life. At J&J Calvary Hearing and Speech centre, we offer comprehensive and Superior Quality Services to all our clients and we enjoin you all to join this train and you will surely be glad you did.
